Overview
Embark on a soul-stirring adventure to the northernmost tip of Myanmar, where the foothills of the mighty Himalayas meet the emerald jungles of Kachin State. Our Putao Himalayan Trails 6-Day Trek is meticulously designed for those who yearn to escape the conventional tourist path and immerse themselves in a world of raw natural beauty and authentic tribal heritage.
Putao, a name that evokes mystery and longing among seasoned travelers, serves as the gateway to some of the most pristine environments in Southeast Asia. This expedition takes you deep into the Namhtunkoo and Nam Saing valleys, regions characterized by towering snow-capped peaks in the distance, crystal-clear mountain streams, and dense sub-tropical rainforests.
Unlike standard trekking tours, this journey focuses on cultural exchange. You will stay in local village houses, sharing stories and meals with the Lisu and Rawang people, whose hospitality is as legendary as the mountains they inhabit. From the iconic Mulashidi suspension bridge to the hidden bamboo groves of Htawphulaw, every step of this 6-day trek reveals a new facet of a landscape that remains one of the world’s last "lost frontiers." Whether you are a photography enthusiast, a nature lover, or an adventure seeker, the Putao Himalayan Trails offer a profound connection to the earth and its people.
