Overview
The Ultimate Journey to the Land of the Nagas
Embark on an extraordinary 8-day expedition to the Naga Hills, one of the most remote and culturally preserved regions in Southeast Asia. Located in the northwestern corner of Myanmar, near the Indian border, Naga Land is a place where time seems to have stood still. This is not just a tour; it is a profound journey into the "Last Frontier," where the legendary Naga tribes maintain their ancestral traditions, unique architecture, and fierce identity.
Starting from the royal capital of Mandalay, we fly into the gateway of the north, Khamti, before traversing the rugged terrain to Lahe, the heart of the Naga Self-Administered Zone. Over the course of eight days, you will leave modern civilization behind, trekking through dense jungles, crossing mountain ridges with breathtaking elevations ranging from 140m to over 2000m, and staying in authentic tribal villages like Hwe Htaik, Pon Nyo, and Sapalaw.
This expedition is designed for true adventurers who seek more than just sightseeing. You will meet the Naga elders, distinguished by their traditional tattoos and ornaments, learn about their history as former headhunters, and witness the harmony between their life and the wild nature of the Sagaing Region. From the mist-covered peaks of Nok Kone to the riverside life in Khamti, every step of this journey offers a raw, unfiltered look at a world rarely seen by outsiders.
